Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.
The business lists hours on 1 day of the week. Typical hours are 3β8 PM. Note that it does not open on Monday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (814) 201-2043. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 429 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded italian restaurants in Altoona.
Altoona is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Altoona follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Staff/owners is a wonderful couple talented not only in their culinary abilities, but in their guest pleasing. Customer appreciation is emphasized and all needs are met. Portions are VERY large and well worth the cost of the dishes. We had the stuffed Salmon and Veal Parmesiano and they were delicious. We will return EVERY time we are in the area.

This place is a hidden gem! The food was phenomenal and the service was very helpful and attentive. When you place your drink order the wait staff start you off with these garlic fuffs, made from their fresh dough. Oh it was delicious. I had the pasta de marri, (don't know if I spelled that right); seafood pasta. Definitely a wonderful family atmosphere, leaving with full stomachs and left over bags. Just splendid β¨οΈ π

A local gem of a really really good authentic Italian restaurant. My wife and I had an incredibly delicious meal and went there because of the many favorable reviews in a local Facebook group. Portions are HUGE. Sauces are authentic and of course homemade by the Italian Chef Owner. Service was awesome. BYOB. Do try the desserts. We will be back.

I went for the first time on Valentines Day. We made reservations weeks before for 7 00 Pm. We showed up a bit early. From the start it was clear there was no front end organization. Reservations meant nothing. People were Seated and served in unorganized order. I was told by regulars to try again. I hope in the future you do better. The Valentines Day menu, needed to have descriptions of the food.

Dammi da mangiare, ho fame! On the recommendation of my wonderful cousin I stopped in when I was in town for business. This is my first of many to come visits. Wonderfully tasty dishes with a menu large enough to keep you here a couple weeks. So Authentic I picked up an accent
